Make Believe Bakery is a sister-owned boutique bakery specializing in custom cakes, dessert tables, handcrafted desserts, and baked goods for weddings, birthdays, showers, and celebrations throughout Salt Lake and Utah County.

What started as a shared love of baking has grown into something we never imagined, and it still feels a little like make-believe that we get to do this every day. Together, we're passionate about creating desserts that are just as memorable as the moments they're made to celebrate.

Meet the Bakers:

Kate

Creative, adventurous, and always up for trying something new, Kate brings endless imagination (and plenty of laughs) to Make Believe Bakery. She's the kind of person who makes everyone feel welcome with her generous heart, contagious sense of humor, and genuine love for celebrating others.

Fun fact:  Kate is gluten free! Living gluten free has inspired her to get creative in the kitchen and gives her a unique perspective when developing recipes. She believes everyone deserves to enjoy beautiful, delicious desserts without feeling limited.

Jessika

Creative, thoughtful, and always dreaming up the next design, Jessika brings both artistry and heart to every cake she creates. As a full time working mom of 3 girls, baking began as a creative outlet and a way to slow down while making memories with her daughters in the kitchen. What started as a simple way to spend time together gradually grew into a passion for creating custom cakes and handcrafted desserts that help other families celebrate their own special moments.

She believes every celebration deserves a dessert that feels personal, beautiful, and thoughtfully made, and she loves bringing each client's vision to life one cake at a time.
